3. Verify identity
The user must verify their identity by providing their Aadhar card or PAN card details. The user will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on their registered mobile number. The OTP must be entered to verify the identity.
4. Request for closure
After the identity is verified, the user can request to close the Flipkart Pay Later account. The customer care executive will ask why the user wants to close the account. If the user provides a valid reason, the executive will initiate the account closure process.
5. Await confirmation
The user must await confirmation from Flipkart that the account has been closed. They will receive an email or SMS confirming the closure of the Flipkart Pay Later account.
First I called Flipkart customer care and they told me there is no option to cancel your Pay later account. Then I called, IFDC First bank (Partner bank) to close my account but they told me, first Flipkart will cancel and then they can proceed further.
Finally, I sent an email to the Flipkart escalations team cs@flipkart.com and requested to close my Pay Later account.
And after 5 days, my Flipkart Pay later account got closed. You can see the Pay later option removed from my account
